Honestly? I found the Great Sand Dunes by accident.

I was driving back to Denver after a trip to New Mexico, saw it on 
the map, and thought — why not? I took the long way. The detour. 
The route that added hours to my drive.

Best decision I ever made.

Nothing prepares you for that view. The tallest sand dunes in North 
America, rising out of the San Luis Valley like they belong to a 
different world. And the wind — quietly, patiently sculpting every 
surface into these perfect, repeating lines. I couldn't stop staring.

I was fascinated. How could something invisible create something 
so beautiful?

I drove home to Denver with that question in my head. And TITAPOTS 
was born.

Every pot we make is a small tribute to that detour. The Linear 
pattern is the wind moving in one direction — steady, calm, 
deliberate. The Transverse is where two winds cross — layered, 
textured, alive. The colors — tan & light brown — are straight 
from the dunes themselves, shaped by quartz, silica, and Colorado sun.

One more thing we're really proud of: the drainage base is universal. 
Every shell fits the same insert. So when we launch a new collection 
— say, a holiday design for Christmas — you don't need to buy a 
whole new pot. Just swap the shell. Same base, fresh look, zero waste.
