Visual Studio Plus LLC isn't a Denver-only studio that stumbled into hospitality design. It's a firm with a decade-long track record in Florida's competitive restaurant and nightlife market — now serving Denver with the same award-winning methodology.

The Florida Foundation

Before Denver, Yumilka Olivi Soto built her portfolio across some of Orlando's most distinctive hospitality venues: Mamazzita, The EYE Restaurant Lounge, Club at Crafted (2026 Coverings CID Award winner), UNICO Gastrobar, Ciel Bar & Lounge, and Black Cat Lounge. Each project deepened her understanding of how physical design directly impacts revenue — through table turnover, social shareability, and guest dwell time.

Bringing Santuario to Denver

When Yumilka relocated to Denver, she brought the Santuario methodology with her — a sensory design approach that layers texture, light, scale, and material to create environments that perform commercially, not just aesthetically. La Diabla Nightclub in LoDo became the first Denver application of this approach. The result: a venue that became one of the most talked-about nightlife openings in the city.

Serving Both Markets Today

Visual Studio Plus actively serves clients in both Denver, CO and Orlando, FL. Denver-based clients benefit from on-site visits and deep knowledge of Colorado's permitting landscape, contractor ecosystem, and local material sourcing. Florida clients retain access to the same award-winning design direction, with virtual consultations and project management available remotely.

Why Dual-Market Experience Matters

Designers who operate across multiple markets bring broader perspective to every project. Yumilka has sourced materials, managed contractors, and navigated code compliance in two distinct regulatory environments. That cross-market experience translates directly into better risk management, faster problem-solving, and a wider network of trade relationships — including RH, Kravet, Schumacher, Visual Comfort, CB2, and West Elm Professional.
