Visual Studio Plus Wins Two Awards at Coverings 2026 in Las Vegas

In April 2026, Visual Studio Plus traveled to Las Vegas for Coverings — the world's largest tile and stone trade show, attended by designers, architects, and industry leaders from across the globe. We came back with two awards.

Visual Studio Plus is now a 2026 Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Award Winner AND a 2026 CID Special Recognition Winner.

What Is the Coverings CID Award?

The CID Awards — Coverings Installation & Design Awards — are among the most prestigious recognitions in the tile and stone design industry. Presented annually at Coverings in Las Vegas, they celebrate the most exceptional examples of tile and stone design and installation across commercial and hospitality projects in North America and beyond.

To win is to be recognized by your peers, your industry, and the world's leading tile and stone brands as producing work that represents the highest standard of the craft. Visual Studio Plus received both the CID Award and the Special Recognition award — two separate honors in the same year.

The Project That Won: The Club at Crafted, Clermont, FL

The award was given for our work on The Club at Crafted — a surrealist-inspired fine dining and speakeasy concept in the Orlando market. The project pushed the boundaries of what tile and stone can do inside a hospitality space, using porcelain in non-traditional architectural patterns to distort perception, bespoke wallcoverings to create dimensionality, and strategic LED technology designed to animate shadows and movement throughout the space.

The result was a space that felt like stepping into a Dali painting — disorienting in the best way, immersive in every direction, and technically precise in its execution. It is the kind of project that only happens when design vision and material mastery operate at the same level.
